What have we done over the past week?

I am now sleeping in a Big Girl Bed, no more Crib for me.......and as the first pictures show mom and daddy took me to the Mug Bug Festival and I played in the water sprinklers and had a blast!

HAPPY ONE YEAR FAMILY DAY!!!!

It has been one year since the day we saw Sydney for the first time, WE LOVE YOU BABY GIRL, and could not imagine our life with out YOU!!! Here is to all of our travel group, we sure miss you guys....

Almost One Year as a Family of Three...

Well, it will be almost a year since Sydney was placed in our arms in that hotel conference room in China. I was so overwhelmed as a new mom and could not believe we had made it to this point after all the years of waiting. I have to admit the last year has been hard and wonderful at the same time. Both Rob and I have grown just like Sydney has grown. Now that we are coming upon our first year as a family, I can honestly say "Sydney you are the most wonderful thing that has ever happen to us, and we love you with more than you will ever know and we could not imagine life with out you". Here are some Easter pictures and other random ones from the last month.

Spring Update

Well Sydney is just doing absolutely wonderful, we fall more in love with her everyday. She is now 2 years and 1 month old and it is amazing what she knows. She is learning colors and numbers and seems to love to learn new things. She is a little thing, only weighs about 26 lbs and is 33 inches tall. We would have never known that in China when they handed us a very chubby and heavy 14 month old. But we still have retained the chubby cheeks, which everyone comments about. We missed Easter due to Rob and I being very sick, we had to call Sydney's godmother over to sit with her because there was no way we could have watched her. So this Saturday we are going to recreate Easter, (good thing she has no idea), with a good old fashion Easter Egg Hunt with her cousins. I will post pictures of the event next week. In the mean time I will leave you with pictures of Sydney in the backyard yesterday, and by the way I love this dress.....

Sickness for Birthday....

Well Boo Boo has her first ear infection causing a temperature of 102 - 103. We were planning her birthday party tomorrow, it will have to be next Saturday... Sorry Boo Boo. Luckly she is 2 and will not know the difference. Hope everyone else is doing good. I will post Bday pics next weekend.

Update on Syd and Day at the Park

Well...

I have not updated on Sydney lately or let me say in long while so here it goes..... She is wonderful, I have to admit she does wear me totally out, she never stops, but she is wonderful. She is now about 26lbs depending on the day, she is not a huge eater mostly just snacks but she has grown about 3 inches since we have been home. Sydney spends 2 days a week with her Me Me at our house and the other 3 days at a home day care. She has really done well at day care. Sydney will start Montesouri school in August and we think she will do very well in that enviroment. And by the way my baby turns 2 in one week. I can't believe it.....

Syndey has really started to use her words and much less whinning for what she wants goes on, but and this is a big but she has transitioned into the terrible 2's that everyone talks about. I am learning not to let it bother me so much and it is getting easier to handle. Pictures above are our day at the Park this past Saturday......
